A new Angel Trumpet seedling worthy of watching

I was pleasantly surprised to discover this new bloom on one of my Angel Trumpet seedlings from a Brugmansia Joli x Charleston cross. The seeds came from German hybridizer Volker Sanders.  One very interesting trait associated with this first set of blooms is that the inner corolla skirt is larger and darker than the outer skirts. The blooms are medium in size with a long corolla tube and they stay snow ...

This angel Trumpet has been in my watch zone for three years, and now it has proudly earned keeper status.  Introducing Brugmansia 'Pink Ruffles', recently registered through the International Brugmansia and Datura Society (iBrugs.com),This seedling is from a cross made between Brugmansia 'Color Point' and 'Double Dark Rosetta', by German hybridizer Volker Sanders. The blooms are all doubles with separated and flouncy skirts.
