You may be wondering why it has taken so long for Sommer Gardens online store to open.  The main reason is that for several years now we have been focused on hybridizing brugmansia.  Sommer Gardens has been working diligently to create a future generation of new cultivars that will raise the bar on the varieties currently available.  Learn more about our hybridizing program here.

Last fall cultivation became a higher priority and we now have thousands of new brugmansia plants being readied for sale.

Pictured below are some of our newest cultivars that will be available when our store opens.  Included in the group pictured below are Brugmansia 'Marshmallow Sunset', 'Lemon Kisses', and 'Orange Sensation'.

The one thing we did not want to do was create a fantasy store where we show dozens of great cultivars with very few plants actually available for sale.  When our store opens in late March, more than 20 varieties of brugmansia will be in stock and ready for immediate purchase.

By late spring and early summer an additional 3,000+ plants will be ready to go.  Here you can see a future generation of brugmansia liners that were recently moved up to small pots.

We expect our cultivar availability to continue to grow during the year.  Soon Sommer Gardens will be offering the largest variety of hybrid brugmansia available anywhere!  After our store opens, please visit often as our selection will continue to change.
